Taster Days for Key Stage 2 entry

At Weston Green, we recognise the importance of choosing the right school for your child. To support interested parents with this important decision, we warmly invite you to book a personalised taster day for your child, at a time to suit you.

The taster day will offer your child the opportunity to meet other children in their year group and gain insight into a typical day at Weston Green, where they will experience our broad and balanced curriculum, ranging from English, Maths and Science to the Humanities, Art, Drama and Sport. Your child will also enjoy a school lunch.

Parents are invited to join their child at the beginning or end of the day to meet our Headteacher, Mr. Harrison, and to have a tour of the school.

Scholarships

We currently have a number of academic scholarships available. If you would like us to consider a scholarship for your child, we will incorporate a series of short assessment tasks, including English, Mathematics, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, as part of their taster day experience. Children who demonstrate exceptional ability at assessment will be considered for a scholarship.

To find out more or to register your child, please contact our School & Admissions Secretary, Mrs. Rachel Ranger, via email or call 020 8398 2778.

Success at 11+

Our pupils consistently receive offers to a wide range of schools at 11+ and we pride ourselves on ensuring that each family is supported in moving on to the secondary school that is best for them.
