Beyond Weston Green
Our aim to is to provide children with opportunities to achieve their academic potential within an environment where they feel valued, fulfilled, confident and emotionally secure.
Opportunities have been extended at WGS to enable children to remain at the school up to 11+.
The school has excellent relationships with our feeder schools and we are in the process of developing further connections with senior schools as pupils move up to Year 6. This valuable link enables us to ensure all pupils are well prepared for assessment, and we take great pride in achieving many first choice offers.
Continuous monitoring and assessment make the transfer to other schools straight forward. Our curriculum is broad, relevant and appropriate and acknowledges the academic requirements of all the schools that our pupils will transfer to. A close partnership with parents is essential.
Future Schools Evenings with Head Teachers of schools that our pupils move to have always been well attended and provide further information for parents.
