Visits & Outings
Throughout the school year visits may be made to local sites of interest. These change according to the curriculum but have included:
- Wisley Gardens
- Blue Reef Aquarium
- Garsons Farm
- Hampton Court Palace
- Bushy Park
- Gunnersbury Park Museum
- Imber Court
- Pizza Express
Year 2 enjoy an annual visit to the Vera Fletcher Hall for a seasonal production.
The pupils also use the local environment to support the curriculum and may be seen out looking at various types of houses, life on the local pond, traffic surveys etc.
We also welcome a wide variety of visitors to the school and amongst these are:
- Elmbridge and Kingston museum outreach
- Representatives from the Fire and Rescue service
- Authors – Val Biro, Paul Geraghty, Anthony Lishak
- Perform drama group
- Roman Workshop
- Representatives from Kingstonian FC
- Music Workshop
The preschool enjoy visits from a selection of ‘People who help us’.
