Social Development
Pupils enjoy coming to school and are happy at both work and play.
We aim to provide our pupils with many experiences to promote positive relationships, individual responsibility and to further extend their confidence. In the main school we operate a House System whereby children learn to cooperate, work and support each other. House Captains are selected by both teachers and pupils and perform an important role as aspiring leaders. Each class also has monitors and helpers
Pupils enjoy coming to school and are happy at both work and play. They are eager to achieve well in lessons and take great pride in what they do. They are aware of the high expectations at Weston Green with regard to behaviour and are eager to work within the set boundaries
Pupils have opportunities to be involved in various celebrations throughout the year in the Harvest, Nativity, Music Concerts, Assemblies and End of Year Productions. We also have a full range of extra curricular activities offering a variety of additional opportunities.
Our pupils are confident have excellent work ethic and a strong sense of belonging because we listen, acknowledge their feelings and value them for who they are. Carefully structured activities and programmes at Weston Green we have created an environment for pupils to develop confidence in themselves as learners and explorers and also as critical thinkers.
