Roald Dahl project is launched

Posted on: 20 Jan 2017 by Weston Green School | Category: General News

Mr Harrison launched the theme for this year’s projects in assembly at the beginning of term – the children will choose one aspect of the life or work of Roald Dahl on which to focus their individual research project.

In previous years the standard of work produced by many children has been fantastic and highly creative. They can select the medium for their chosen topic – it could be a 3D model, a short film, a written piece or anything that captures their imagination. They could focus on one or more of Dahl’s books, a single character or they could find out about his time in the RAF during the Second World War.

The deadline for letting class teachers know what their area of focus will be is 26th January. The date for the completion of the project is not until late April, so there is plenty of time to find inspiration.

The staff are eagerly waiting to see what will be produced this year!
