Street party lunch

The bunting was strung out, patriotic tunes played, the children dressed up on the theme of Royalty and Commonwealth and the Food Committee helped Matt and Stefan in the kitchen make 20 loaves of bread into delicious sandwiches. All was set for a wonderful street party lunch in celebration of the Queen’s 90th birthday.

As lunchtime approached, even the sun put in a surprise appearance to help the party go with a swing. A wonderful time was had by both staff and pupils, with mountains of cocktail sausages consumed and some fabulous costumes, tiaras and crowns admired by all.

Many thanks go to the Food Committee for their hard work in organising such a lovely party.
