E-safety first

Posted on: 15 Jun 2017 by Weston Green School | Category: Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2

The e-safety committee (aided by some additional Yr 5 children) recently ran an e-safety assembly for all the children from Reception up to Year 6.

The role of the KS2 digital leaders was explained - how they can help to support their peers. Miss Keitch organised a short drama which highlighted to the children the need for them to tell a trusted adult straight away if they see anything which makes them feel uncomfortable when they are online.

The message about how to keep safe when using the internet is one that the e-safety committee aims to keep at the forefront of everyone’s minds.
