Life in year 6

Posted on: 10 Nov 2016 by Weston Green School | Category: Key Stage 2, Year 6

As Year 6 up the momentum in anticipation of the next round of 11+ exams in January, Lacksha and Evie in Year 6 give an insight into what it is like to prepare for and take your first exams….

Evie comments: Preparing for examinations is hard work and although I have already had an exam (and an acceptance – hurray!) I have to remind myself to ‘keep charging up the mountain and not come back down until it’s over!’.

Lacksha explains: Getting ready for the 11+ takes a lot of effort and you just have to remind yourself that all you can do it try your best! I have already had some exams (with great success!) but know that there is a little way to go. My top tip is not to worry too much about the time in a test as the more you worry about it, the more time you waste!
