Making bread while the sun shines!

Posted on: 12 May 2015 by Weston Green School

Day two greeted Weston Green with bright sunshine, lots of bread and delicious pains au chocolat for breakfast.  In addition to the children taking in a beautiful cycle ride around the bay, they were also involved in some lively and competitive breadmaking.  Each group had to learn, not just the words for the key ingredients, but they also had to learn new verbs to describe each part of the process.  Whilst learning and singing some new French songs, the budding bakers had to draw upon their creative flair to design and produce a final masterpiece. Needless to say, everybody enjoyed devouring their creations in the evening!
