New achievement scheme to be launched

Posted on: 13 Jan 2016 by Weston Green School | Category: Key Stage 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, Year 6

It is always wonderful to hear of and celebrate the many achievements of the children at Weston Green.  In addition to all the wonderful things that they do in school, we know that many independently take part in a host of external activities that help to further their personal development. What is particularly impressive is that the children are responsible for making their own progress and we we would like to recognise and celebrate this.

This term, we are launching a scheme for KS2 called the ‘Weston Green Endeavour awards’. The aim is for the children to complete a range of tasks that complement their extra-curricular work. They will start on bronze and move through three levels (Bronze, Silver and Gold) so that they achieve their Gold before leaving in Year 6.

Mrs Earp will be launching the scheme on Monday 25 January when further details will be explained to the children.
