UKSA trip

Posted on: 24 May 2017 by Weston Green School | Category: Key Stage 2, Year 5, Year 6

The sun is shining, the sea is blue ... and the years 5 and 6 pupils of Weston Green School are having an amazing time here at UKSA on the Isle of Wight. Now into our third day we have been dinghy sailing, paddle boarding, kayaking, raft building, crabbing and keel boat sailing. The children have become experts at getting in and out of their wetsuits, helmets and buoyancy aids, and have enjoyed every minute so far!  Needless to say at mealtimes they are ravenous and thoroughly enjoying the filling fayre on offer, and at the end of the day they are sleeping soundly - exhausted and happy. Tomorrow is a dry day visiting Osbourne House, the beautiful home of Queen Victoria, before heading back to their UKSA base for a final night of games in the pool. Click here to see a small gallery of photos - many more will follow on our return to school.
