Sports at Weston Green School

At Weston Green School, we are proud to nurture a strong culture of sport, where children develop their skills, build confidence, and foster a lifelong passion for physical activity. Our sports programme encourages participation at all levels, helping pupils to discover their talents and grow as individuals and team players.

What We Offer

Our broad curriculum ensures that every child has the opportunity to engage in a variety of sports. Lessons take place both on-site, where we focus on athletics, gymnastics, dance, and multi-skills development, and off-site at Old Cranleighans Sports Club, where pupils enjoy football, rugby, netball, cricket, and hockey.

Children regularly participate in inter-house competitions, school fixtures, and regional events, gaining valuable experience in both individual and team sports. These activities help foster essential values such as resilience, collaboration, and sportsmanship.

A Commitment to Excellence

Our expert sports coaches guide pupils through an enriching curriculum designed to develop their abilities while inspiring them to strive for excellence. From early multi-skills training to competitive gameplay in the Prep years, children are supported and challenged every step of the way.

Facilities That Inspire

With access to fantastic facilities both on-site and at Old Cranleighans Sports Club, our pupils benefit from a first-class environment for training and competition. These facilities allow us to offer a comprehensive and high-quality sports programme that caters to a wide range of interests and abilities.
