Pupils in Key Stage 2 benefit from a broad, well-balanced curriculum, which includes subjects from the National Curriculum and many cross-curricular links between subject areas. The curriculum is enriched through the activities and opportunities offered and it is delivered using a variety of teaching styles, to support pupils in their progression from Key Stage 1, through to preparation for 11+ examinations.

The acquisition of skills and knowledge is planned carefully to engage pupils in their learning and to help support each child in reaching their full potential.
Years 5 and 6 recently enjoyed a Shakespeare workshop, focused around the story of Macbeth. The pupils were able to explore the story and its themes and meanings, through role play and group drama. Watch a short video on the left hand side of this page.
