Pupils in Key Stage 2 benefit from a broad, well-balanced curriculum, which includes subjects from the National Curriculum and many cross-curricular links between subject areas. The curriculum is enriched through the activities and opportunities offered and it is delivered using a variety of teaching styles, to support pupils in their progression from Key Stage 1, through to preparation for 11+ examinations. The acquisition of skills and knowledge is planned carefully to engage pupils in their learning and to help support each child in reaching their full potential.

Subjects covered in Key Stage 2 include:

To ensure that pupils interact outside their year groups we have 'Genius Time', a weekly session where children across various year groups come together to work on a shared project. The aim of this is to give children downtime from curriculum based learning, freedom to discover and direct their own interests, encourage friendships across year groups and promote collaborative working.
