What a term it has been! It has been jam-packed with learning activity from Kindergarten through to Year 6. The children have been constantly striving for higher standards, each at their own levels and the effort grades for each of the pupils in Key Stages 1 and 2 are evidence of that earnest and sustained approach. In the last edition, I wrote about exams and assessment. It is a mark of the richness of a typical Weston Green week that I am now full of thoughts about other aspects of school life here: last week we had our annual ‘Anti-Bullying’ and ‘Interfaith’ weeks as well as our Teatime Concert. It was, therefore, a most thoughtful, reflective and creative week.
