Open Morning for current parents on the 26th February was a wonderful occasion. As I mentioned before, rarely do you get the chance to see the children ‘in action’ and it was a great privilege to see so many of you here, making the most of that opportunity. To watch parents watching the children always enthrals me and this was no exception – a mixture of delight, pride and joy emanated from your faces, and rightly so as the children always exude such enthusiasm and purposefulness in all their classroom interaction. I was pleased we could show you art, sport and music along with a variety of classroom fare. May it have given you a true picture of the daily experience of your children.
The week ahead holds another rich banquet, with trips out, the Tea-time concert and the inaugural Year 2 Football tournament ‘headlining’, perhaps.
Our next official appointments for parents are in the shape of Parent Interviews on the 18th and 19th March but we certainly hope to see you before then at some or all of the events in bold in the calendar and, of course, at the Quiz this Thursday evening.
