The huge digger moved like a tank down the road and squeezed onto the field. Two days later, it seemed like giant moles had been partying non-stop...the piles of earth were huge.
The area now looks serene, flat and ready for the next stage as we move towards having the astro area which will be so valued.
Something similar has been happening inside the building, metaphorically. The teachers have been digging up their theoretical approaches to teaching and learning, sifting, thinking and re-laying ready for the new term. It’s been wonderful and stimulating to share thoughts about how we deliver the very best to the children, in the term and year ahead.
The hard work of preparing the foundations will bring the best provision and long-lasting success for the children. These are exciting times at Weston Green, both inside and out – watch this space for more to come!
