Summer’s coming!

Posted on: 21 Apr 2016 by Weston Green School

The summer term began in typically British fashion – glorious sunshine one day and heavy downpours the next (as the Key Stage 2 children will testify after Friday’s games session!). However, the rain has done nothing to dampen the children’s spirits and it has been great to get underway again and to begin the final term of the school year – and the final term at Weston Green for some of the children , notably Year 6 who will shortly move on to Senior School.

It looks to be another vibrantly busy term with so much to challenge the children and so much to enjoy. Already we have had ‘Science Week’ which inspired the science projects and which began in such great style with Science Boffins visiting the school. Already we have had our first trip out as Year 1 visited Kew Gardens.

It is this pace of life we have become accustomed to at Weston Green and one of the reasons which it is such a special place to be: it seems we do so much, and do it all so well, thanks to that wonderful commitment of the exceptional team here which contuse to ignite the children’s enthusiasm. Hold on – it’s going to be another exhilarating ride through another great term!
