Here at Weston Green, pupils love thinking of ways to make life here even better, and in Key Stage 2, the children are often eager to become School Council Reps for their class.
Our new School Council Reps have now been elected by their classmates for this school year and recently held their first meeting. The School Council are conducting their meetings with an agenda and minutes, and have already set about collecting tissue boxes to turn into suggestion boxes for their classes.
Learning about democracy first hand, in this way, helps our pupils to understand the role it plays in British life. We look forward to seeing how our School Council work together over the course of this year.
