All aboard for Girls on Board

Weston Green School was delighted this week to host a Girls on Board training day for over 40 delegates from a range of schools across the country.

Having become a "Girls on Board" school last year, Weston Green School is confident that this programme for helping girls navigate the sometimes choppy waters of friendship, is a valuable aid to staff and parents and was keen to host a training day, led by Andrew Hampton, who created this very successful programme.

As part of the day, the girls in Years 5 and 6 took part in a demonstration "Girls on Board" session led by Andrew. They responded brilliantly in front of a large, mostly unknown audience and were a real credit to the school, and to Mrs Pinhey, who has worked with them over the past year or so, using the programme.
