We welcome you to view our special Harvest Assembly, proudly showcasing how the children have been thinking of their support for others in our local community at this time. Traditionally, harvest is a time for sharing the abundance of produce with communities and to those less fortunate than ourselves. This year more than ever, we recognise as a school we can do more, and support those closest to us on our doorstep, organisations locally who have been impacted severely by the current global crisis.
Please enjoy the beautiful readings, poems and songs from all our children who so wonderfully remind us that at ‘Times Like These’ we need to, more than ever, put our arms around those close to us, in our communities, to support and care for them at this difficult time. Please view our assembly here.
Thank you for your very kind donations which we will be sharing with East Elmbridge Foodbank, who are working hard to support more and more individuals and families finding themselves
in very challenging circumstances. Please find more information about this at https://eastelmbridge.foodbank.org.uk/.
We will also be sending your financial donations to the Princess Alice Hospice which helps create a wonderful space for families with someone facing end of life care. Whether at the Hospice or at home families can enjoy special moments and create precious memories together. Again at this time, this amazing place, within our community, needs our support more than ever.
Traditionally also as a school we support the Hope Gardens charity, through which we sponsor two Indian children who can benefit from the programmes they run. Projects which benefit poor families to rebuild and sustain a livelihood which can support their local communities. You can also support them at here Hope Gardens Charity.
