“It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves, that will make them successful human beings.”
This wonderful quote sums up what we have seen from the youngest members of the Weston Green community, since the return to school a few weeks ago. From Nursery, through Kindergarten and into Reception, the children have had a tremendous start to the Autumn term and have shown us how resilient, brave and increasingly independent they are. The smiles that greet us upon arrival in the morning are broad, the skipping into the classroom is energetic and the focus on given tasks and activities is impressive so early in the term. It is fair to say that the smiles on the faces of the staff are fairly wide too as we get to know the wonderful little humans in our care and start to build those special relationships with our classes. We may be small but the Early Years team, children and staff, pack a powerful punch and we are ready for the year ahead - trips, visitors, exciting activities, specialist lessons, jam-packed days, friends, reading, running, questioning, laughing, sharing, talking and so, so much more.
2021-2022 - Bring it on: Nursery, Kindergarten and Reception are ready for you!
