Year 3 and Year 6 have enjoyed getting to know their buddies this half term. During the first weeks back the Year 6 children came down to visit the new 3W and 3M to introduce themselves and share their brochures they had made. These were packed full of information about their hobbies and interests as well as life in Key Stage 2, which helped the Year 3 children enormously.
Over the course of the term, the Year 6 children have been helping Year 3 to carry their sports bags on a Friday, playing with them in the playground and supporting them when needed over the course of the school day. They are there when Year 3 need advice and all of them are frequently showing their wonderful nurturing characters, something they should be very proud of.
