Pupils are celebrating the end of a successful sporting year.
Weston Green has performed strongly in a number of regional and national competitions organised by the Independent Schools Association (ISA) and have enjoyed the following achievements:
Pupils have also received offers of Sports Scholarships to secondary schools, this year.
Headteacher, Mr. Mike Harrison, said: “Here at Weston Green, we are proud of our philosophy and practice of sport for all, whereby every child gets the same standard of coaching and match opportunity. In an era when ‘big’ has been seen as a pre-requisite for ‘success’, it is so refreshing when ‘small’ comes through and pure talent, character and a drive to succeed overcomes the odds.”
“We are very proud of the children for all they have achieved this year. Our players and athletes have demonstrated their ability to compete at the highest levels and have shown tremendous spirit and skill. Well done, everyone.”
