On Friday 4th December, KS2 was honoured with Chris Robshaw’s presence through a Google Meet. The children enjoyed the questions and answer session and here are some of their reflections:
From the questions and answer session with Chris Robshaw, I learned all about his interesting life in rugby and some facts about him which I didn't already know.
William Reed
I learnt that he had a special diet, was captain of his team and took ice baths after a match so that his bones could recover quickly ( including in winter!).
Elise Evans
From the session with Chris Robshaw, I learnt that it is important to keep on trying when things get difficult. I also learnt that being captain is all about motivating your team mates and making sure everyone stays calm and happy.
Arabella Burns
Chris Robshaw inspired me to keep trying even if you have something in your way. I also learnt that sometimes sport can clear your mind and it really helps with concentration. It also motivated me to know that at a young age if you excel at a sport you will do will in your career or adulthood (if you choose that sport).
Kiara Duffy
I learnt all about Chris Robshaw's rugby career. He inspired me to follow my dreams even if no one thinks you will be good at it.
