Kindergarten and Reception children have been learning the story of the first Christmas and the birth of Jesus.
They worked hard, and with great enthusiasm, to learn some new songs and every child in Reception learned a line to tell the story. They then came to school dressed as a character from the story and we spent a day making a film of their nativity to share with parents at the end of term.It was great fun and they all now know what “Action!” and “Cut!” mean. It was really useful being able to film in small chunks so that no one had to sit or stand for too long in their costume. We really hope that parents and grandparents enjoy seeing the result of all their hard work.
