Fantastic term of girls’ sport

Fantastic term of girls’ sport

This term the girls have shown excellent team work, skill and talent on the netball court. The Year 3 teams demonstrated outstanding defence throughout the season, with Elsie, Freya and Heidi determined to not let the ball past them. Year 4 have shown strong team work too throughout the season and the bond between them has helped enable them to play some fantastic matches. Our Year 4s have also shown exceptional shooting talent; no matter where Pollyanna is in the D, she is ready and willing to take the shot with confidence.

Finally, our Year 5 and 6 teams - what a season they have had! The girls' growing knowledge of the game coupled with their motivation has made them a thrilling team to watch. With strong determination from Archini and Lily, our defence has been hard to break. Connie has then been the driving force through the centre third and has ensured the attacking trio are able to receive the ball in prime position.

All the teams have been amazing to watch this term and we are looking forward to next season, where we have an exceptional team of Year 5 girls who will no doubt continue to lead the successes of this year.

A brilliant term girls - well played!
