What a fabulous half term of hockey we have had so far, with all KS2 year groups and all children representing the school and playing in fixtures. We have had some fabulous and hard-fought matches against other local schools, including St Georges, Claremont, Staines Prep, Prospect House and Ewell Castle. The highlight for many is the ISA tournaments, national events against a much broader range of schools. Once again the children represented Weston Green with pride and determination. In the boys National ISA tournament, we were runners up in the plate competition. In the mixed hockey, Weston Green was in a very strong group and narrowly finished 3rd, just missing out on a semi-final place. It is always wonderful to see the teamwork and support between all our pupils on the sports field.
