ISA Athletics Champions!

Last week, a selection of children from Years 4, 5 and 6 travelled to Norman Park, Bromley for the London South ISA Athletics competition and came back more successful than ever before.

The children were excited to support one another and compete in a variety of track and field events over the course of the day. All of the children were excellent: they gave their all to each event they competed in; showed great sportsmanship, and were determined to do their best for their school. Many of them won or came in the top three of their heats as well as showing how well they can work as a team in the very close relay races.

Whilst we are immensely proud of all of them and their achievements on the day, we must individually congratulate our medal winners: Fin, who won a silver medal for the long jump; Lily, who won a silver medal for the rounders ball throw; Sam, who won two silver medals for the 150m sprint as well as the 600m long distance race and Jemima who won an amazing gold medal for the 80m sprint.

A huge well done to them and especially to Jemima, Lily and Sam who will now travel to the National Finals later this term.
