Join us for an ‘Outdoor Learning’ Early Years talk with Gail Ryder Richardson

Posted on: 17 Jun 2015 by Weston Green School

Local parents with children of pre-school and Reception age are invited to join us for a special parent workshop:

“Outdoor Learning and Risk Taking in Early Years”
with Gail Ryder Richardson

Tuesday 23rd June, 7.00 - 8.00pm

Gail Ryder Richardson has a Masters in Early Childhood Education from the University of Sheffield, and has worked in the Early Years sector for over 30 years in a wide range of roles including advice and support, education inspections and quality assurance. She is an experienced and well-respected educational adviser, with a national reputation for promoting the importance of the outdoor environment for children under five years old.

The session will provide insight into the benefits and positive impact of outdoor learning on young children as well as highlighting the importance of risk taking and risk management as a vital part of childhood and early years education.

Parents will have the opportunity to ask any questions that they may have.

To book your place, please email jreynolds@westongreenschool.org.uk .

We look forward to welcoming you.
