Key Stage 2 Sports Update

Since half term, Key Stage 2 have continued to progress in Sport.

Unfortunately, the weather has been affecting the consistency of fixtures, with the Weston Green boys losing two football matches, including the ISA regional tournament which some had been training for, for two months. However, despite these disappointments, there have been a variety of success. Our Year 3 boys won the Surbiton Prep Plate at their recent festival, battling through the cold, wet and almost waterlogged pitches to succeed, whilst our girls beat Staines Prep and Ewell Castle at the start of this half term.

Our Year 4s have made it through the entire term without losing a fixture between them, at any team level - something never seen before at Weston Green. Finally, our Year 6s finished with a competitive set of fixtures against Staines Prep, where the girls had a fine win, along with the A team in the boys football, with Freddie scoring a hattrick from midfield.

Overall, it has been a fantastic term of sport so far and we are looking forward to the beginning of the hockey season. Well done to all the children and coaches.
