Posted on: 10 Dec 2020 by Weston Green School
We're delighted to share that Michele Sutton will be joining our Kindergarten team as our new Nursery Assistant in January. To help get to know her more we asked her a few questions about her background and what she's looking forward to her new role at Weston Green.
I completed my Bachelor of Education in 2018 at the University of South Africa & went on to spend my first year and a half as a teaching assistant at a beautiful preschool in my hometown, Durban, where I gained great experience! My journey to the UK began in August 2020 and I have spent my first few months here working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in a Reception class in Mayfair. I am beyond excited to be a new member of the Weston Green family and I cannot wait to start my new position in the Nursery Class in January!
I am so excited to welcome our new children to Weston Green and to be part of the Nursery Class opening in January! I am also thrilled to be able to work with Mrs Merry who has such extensive experience in Early Years - I am going to learn so much from her!
I absolutely adore working with children of the Nursery age group because of their pure innocence and awe of their world that they are so busy discovering. Supporting them in their curiosity is so rewarding and watching them grow so quickly at this age is the most exciting part about being a teacher!
We can't wait to have her join us in January.
