At Weston Green we have really started to see the hard work that has been injected into the growth of music over the past two years. Our termly teatime concert showcased a huge repertoire in musical genres as well as a range of instruments. The Three Brass Belles opened the concert in style and confidence on their cornets, followed by performances on the piano, flute, clarinet, violin, guitar, saxophone and vocals.
More recently, we have started a Weston Green School Orchestra and have been rehearsing twice a week in time for the Carol Service. Within just a few rehearsals the children have really started to develop their ensemble playing. Their enthusiasm for rehearsals has been very impressive, along with their punctuality and keenness to play together. Their debut at the Carol Service was such a joyful addition to the evening!
