Year 6 are busy delving into their overarching topic: Invent, Inspire, Innovate and, in RE, they are learning about Rastafarianism and its origin. Working in a cross-curricular fashion they have listened to Bob Marley’s music and used their art skills to help them gather an understanding of this minority religious group. Using their skills from Black History month in the Autumn term the children will make links to human rights. This week the children have examined the flag and the well chosen reasons for its colours and image the importance of symbolism.
