Amber and Opal classes have seamlessly transitioned from Kindergarten to Reception. Children are settling into their new classes and routines, meeting old friends and making new ones. Children have been learning 4 new phonic sounds a week and practise cursive writing each morning as they move towards reading and writing! We have spoken about the unique qualities that make us special and painted self-portraits to be displayed outside our classrooms. We have had an exciting and productive start to the year and cannot wait to celebrate our achievements together in Reception!
