Posted on: 09 May 2018 by Weston Green School | Category: General News, Parents' Association, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2
The School Council has had a busy start to this term and has taken great pleasure in reorganising and improving the school's playground equipment. During last term the School Council took time to ask each year group what new equipment they would like. The responses were then carefully recorded and we discussed each suggestion together and eventually arrived at a sensible list. As soon as this list was ready to go, the equipment was ordered (with thanks to the Parents' Association) and the new equipment arrived at Weston Green last week.
Before this equipment was placed on to the playground the School Council thought it was important to do an assembly highlighting how to look after this equipment properly and even introducing a new system of tidying the playground shed.
We have had a fantastic start to the term and are now planning even more exciting things for the upcoming weeks, so watch this space!
