Sport Since Returning

Here we are! After three weeks, we are at Easter, where the children have a well deserved break and a chance to socialise, albeit still in gardens or parks. It has been an intense but lovely journey across these three weeks with sport. With the children having had very little organised physical activity since December, we were keen to let the children remember what it was like to enjoy sport in school, creating fun activities and attempting to develop their fitness at the same time. With such a short time to work with the children on their hockey skills, we will be continuing hockey after Easter up until the first May bank holiday. Whilst the weather may not have been kind to us during our sporting sessions, there can be no doubt that the children’s enthusiasm and energy was a guiding light throughout every lesson.
