As half term approaches, it is the perfect opportunity to reflect on our sporting successes. The shining light for this term so far has been the continual development and effort from all pupils in the school.
The Year 5 and 6 girls made an encouraging start to the year with a victory over Ewell Castle and competed in the recent U11 tournament at Staines where their effort levels did not drop, despite some strong teams.
The Year 5 and 6 boys Football began with some tough fixtures, but they have demonstrated an ability to keep fighting and have often been unlucky in defeat.
In Year 3, there has been a victory for the girls in Netball (their first competitive fixture), as well as a clean sweep of wins in Football against Surbiton Boys. There are certainly players with an excellent attitude, which is a delight to see.
However, nothing could have predicted the success of Year 4 who have, as a combined year group, played eight fixtures and won them all, showing teamwork, technique and above all, determination.
Well done to all those pupils for their fantastic efforts.
