Year 1 went on their first Forest School adventure this week and had so much fun in the sunshine. The children were full of energy and explored and investigated all afternoon.
Children enjoyed searching the forest for any items that start with their initial, this proved to be quite a challenge for some with uncommon starting letters but all of the children persevered displaying that they are fantastic woodpeckers! We found ‘enormous sticks, orange leaves and dark wood’. Children of course enjoyed their forest school ‘campfire’ snack (although we left the campfire at school as it was not needed in 26 degree heat!).
