In Literacy, Year 2 have read the text ‘Mog and the Vee Ee Tee’ by Judith Kerr. Our lessons became a different scene earlier this week when we took on the roles of the characters and acted out the book. Our classrooms were transformed into a noisy, wild waiting room full of dogs barking, parrots squawking and hamsters squeaking and of course, it only got worse when Mog tried to escape! What an eventful morning we had at the ‘vets’! We then went onto writing our own diary entry in the role of the vet and Mog, the cat.
