Year 5 and 6 Adventure Week

With the glorious sun shining for the whole week during Adventure Week for UKS2, the children were full of beans and had an amazing time taking part in different activities each day.

Tuesday - Bushy Park

On the ferry ride we had a great time. I enjoyed seeing all the ducks and waving at the passing people!

Eva McAsey and Arabella Burns

At Bushy Park I enjoyed playing with the parachute and playing cricket with my friends. I really enjoyed football and it was funny when the Frisbee was caught in the tree.

Arjan Inder Rieden

Wednesday - Liquid Leisure

Kayaking was very pleasant, I thoroughly enjoyed splashing in the lake (which was - surprisingly - warm)! I liked watching people fall off and having a giggle.

Kiara Duffy

It was my first time kayaking and I soon realised that it was a lot of fun and actually I found it quite easy and calming.

Oliver Paget

I enjoyed the paddleboards because I jumped off lots and I could swim around because I had a rope attached to my ankle and it dragged the board.

Alice Dunn

I really enjoyed doing the stand up paddle boarding because it was really fun just messing about on the lake.

William Reed

I loved doing the obstacle  course - it was my favorite activity all week. We got to jump off things, slide down things and best of all we got wet.

Jemima Summers

I liked the banana bikes because  it was  fun when you were bobbing  up and down on the clear blue water.

Lily Rose Milne

I loved being in the water and doing the activities!

Aoife Barnes

Thursday - Sandown

At Sandown skiing I enjoyed learning something new as I have never done skiing before. The instructors were very kind and helpful when I was struggling. At first I was struggling to go up the slope on my skis but the instructors were very calm and easy to understand so I learnt very quickly!

Evie Gardner

I really enjoyed the skywalk at sandown because I found it was not difficult fun and productive. I most loved the zip line.

Amelie Secker

The Ski Walk was the best because it needed most team work. I loved Adventure Week and I am so grateful that the teachers put it together for us.

Arabella Camburn

Friday - Team Building

I liked Mission Impossible week because it was very active and enjoyable. I even made a new friend while doing it because we worked together. My favorite activity was the bomb - you had to lasso it with chunky rope and if you dropped it then you had to start again.  It was super fun!
