We will remember them.....

As we approach 11th November, Year 6 have been thinking about the importance of remembering.  In their assembly today, the children encouraged people to not only remember those that have sacrificed their lives for our freedom, but to also think about the sacrifices made by those who have waved loved ones off to war.

Year 6 performed their assembly (where they acted, sang and included a poem that they themselves had written!)  with clarity and poise. The audience were moved by their performances and overwhelmed by the maturity they displayed in conveying such a sensitive subject.
