The children in 4B have shown incredible dedication in their recent work on Biomes. We have linked up our English lessons, ICT skills, geography and science in our current projects. We have looked at our impact on the world and what we need to do to protect it, covering issues such a deforestation, oil spills and global warming. In English we looked at newsletters and have compiled our own supplement about biomes, which includes work from all of the children working together using Microsoft Publisher; this has been a relatively new programme that we have been experimenting with and the children have achieved such a lot and shown great pride in their work. Finally, the class have completed these magnificent 'biomes in a box' projects at home and brought them in (to which a range of teachers will be coming to judge them for their specific details relating to the plants, animals and landscape features that they have included!)
You can see their extraordinary work here, and lastly, a big well done to the children for working so hard and achieving so much!
