Friday brought much excitement and many energetic children. The mini marathon was upon us and all of year 1 were ready to run to raise money for the recent disaster in Nepal. With the sun shining and having watched and cheered the EYFS children earlier in the day, the buzz around the course was electric.
As the children approached the start line, having had their group pep talks, they were off, cheered on loudly by parents, teachers and siblings. All of the children did exceptionally well with everyone going until the bell rang to signal the final lap. It is always wonderful to see how much the children enjoy this event and they were all proud of themselves for the effort they had put in, especially those who didn't stop once! We would like to thank everyone who came for supporting all the children and for their kind donations to an extremely worthy cause.
