Reception went on their first day out as a class when they visited Garsons Farm on the 10th of October. Despite a week of gloomy, wet weather we were blessed with glorious sunshine. The children were excited to travel by coach and upon arrival were greeted by Malcolm, the tractor driver who transported us all to the pumpkin patch and offered the wise advice to choose a pumpkin no bigger than our heads!
Children took time and care to find the perfect crop and the larger pumpkins came in handy when they needed to sit down and have a little rest!
