Last Tuesday Year 1 took to the road….and ended up at the beach. It was a wonderful trip. Our sandcastles resembled palaces more than castles. Mrs Ranger worked hard to manage the construction of her brilliant boat. We had a very informative talk from the West Wittering Life Guarding Team. The children busily filled (and spilled) their buckets with water from a sand pool until their moat was full. Then it was time for sandy sandwiches and yummy ice lollies to finish the trip.
