Lessons in Year 2 have been very colourful and communicative with children learning all the colours of the rainbow (and more) in French. Our Year 2s have also been practising how to say how they are feeling in French prompted by pictures of different expressions. They enjoyed acting out and communicating the extreme emotions in particular! They then combined their knowledge of colour vocabulary and feelings to play a game: ‘les couleurs et les conversations’. Each pupil was given a different colour square and when their colour was called out in French they had to express how they were feeling. They managed this brilliantly with impressive acting and super French accents too! Bravo Year 2!
