Luckily not a real one but part of year 6's recent English studies. As part of their work on recounts the class had to study the events surrounding the Hindenburg disaster of 1937. The rapid demise of the airship shocked the class, but they were relieved to learn that so many of the passengers survived.
They then went to work on producing their own recount in the form of a radio interview, taking note of the era in which they would have been. Although the subject matter was serious, they had a lot of fun in the lessons editing their scripts.
