For PSHE week, the children have been participating in "All About Me" week. They have thought about the different feelings they experiance during their day, ways to control feelings and how to overcome them. The children have looked at the feelings they enjoy most and why. Year 1 have made mood jars which help them to recognise how being calm can help us to gain a clearer picture as well as 'feeling fans' and feeling masks. They have all thoroughly enjoyed the chance to think specifically about how they feel and use what they have made to help them explain themselves during different activities.
