Last week, Year 3 and 4 boys took on Denmead School in two football matches. With the boys working hard at their skills during training, they were confident leading into the match. The boys played a good passing game, whilst trying to retain their positional sense and reproducing all the hard work they had demonstrated already in the term. The results were shared, between the two schools with one Weston Green team winning 4-1 and the other losing a close fought match 1-0. Some standout performances include Finley who scored a hat-trick, Sam who led well from the centre of defence and Atticus who demonstrated great energy whilst leading his team. This bodes well for the next game against Shrewsbury House on Friday 9th October.
