When I asked the children about their favourite activities at school, one of the most popular answers was Forest School, so I have added a gallery of photos for them to reflect upon with you.
As with most effective learning, the work that they do in these sessions is extremely cross curricular and allows them to make connection between areas of learning.
Some of the projects that feature in the gallery involve constructing shelters for animals, creating puppets and portraits from clay and batural materials and working together to create a giant spider web.
Barney and Alexander initiated a project in which they constructed a sling shot to protect the animal shelters and Lauren became very interested re-creating a spider web with leaves on the ground.
